"Faces of House" was founded in the middle of 2002 by two dj-friends, Carlos and Michael.
We decided to start it as a project, wich should make kinds of playing housemusic popular in our homeregion.
In addition to this intention, the project should stand for variation-rich DJ-sets, which interconnects partially completely different styles of Housemusic and bring this couple of music into an agreement.
Carlos was born in Portugal but grew up in the Ruhrdistrict, Germany. He first encountered the turntables when he got his first job in a small club in his hometown Iserlohn. This was in 1981. Then he was playing over 17 years in many popular clubs in germany, such as tarmcenter bochum, dorian gray and some others. Michael was born in Iserlohn, Germany. His interest in electronic music came a little late. When he was 18 years old, he got in the first time into a club. Till this time, he heard a lot of pop songs and other things. He was very impressed about the clubmusic the dj's played. This was in 1996. But he started to buy electronic music ( many trance and techno stuph) at the end of 1998. At the End of 2000, he got an offer from a local club. Michael's music style was intensively shaped by some local dj's, but also some popular dj's, such as george morel, tom novy, chris liebing, pascal f.e.o.s. and toni rios. His music style became a lot more funky, when he got known carlos in 2001.
